Yes! We give you the safest options when it comes to feeding your kids. All dyes and colors used in our products are made with 100% food grade mineral pigments. They’re premium quality, which means safe and won’t fade with time

Our small plates are perfect for little ones with small hands and small-ish appetites. As children grow out of them they work as great side dishes for snack-time. Some customers even use them as appetizer plates for outdoor gatherings — after all, versatility is key to sustainability.

If your toddler is a “big eater” then a large plate might suit them just fine. These dishes are ideal for older kids and adults. Like the smaller plates, this tableware is also great for outdoor gathering and kids or kids-at-heart.

YoungLUX products are durable but not completely unbreakable. Dishes and cups will never shatter; however, they may crack if they fall or are thrown (which happens with little ones...we’ve all been there...don’t worry!).

Sorry, no. The natural fibres and bindings are not suitable for the microwave. It’s also a good idea to heat your food in a separate container so that your serving plates and bowls are not too hot for the kiddos.

YoungLUX products are very low maintenance and can last a lifetime if they’re handled with care and love. You can use the dishwasher for regular cleaning, but we also suggest that you give them a good hand wash with soap every once in a while.

Built for kids, YoungLUX products are as stain resistant as they come — spaghetti sauce, even curry is no match for our dishware. If you do have a stubborn stain, simply use a dry eraser. It works wonders and will soon have your products looking like new.

An FSC certification means that our bamboo and plant-based fibers come from responsibly managed forestry. Every harvest of the bamboo we use is replaced or will regenerate naturally and comparable amounts. Bamboo regenerates every three years, which is very quick, and it requires no chemical or pesticides to grow, making it a very sustainable and environmentally-friendly resource.
